So sorry to hear of Florence's passing. She was a great friend to my Mom, Margie Sheppard, and she was one of my favorite people to visit when I came to the Village from Wisconsin. She will be sorely missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. My Mom, Jeanette Marten, and Florence were good friends. Mom and Florence shared the "widows' pew" at Christ Lutheran Church, went shopping, dined at the Home Plate and The Shack, and just enjoyed each other's company. We were able to visit Florence in her new apartment on one of my visits to the Village. It's hard to believe that both are no longer with us. I have many fond memories of a very kind woman.
